Swatch X Peanuts
Bark&Bite were invited by Swatch to bring to life their collaboration with childhood favourite, Peanuts.
Inspired by the classic cel animation method that first launched the gang onto our screens, we based the concept around the blank, clear plastic sheets that housed the characters for so many years.

Across the full suite of films we introduced the entire Peanuts family. Each character exhibiting the same charm they had in the show. The cels acted as a unique vehicle to animate the characters and by showing multiple cels at once, we could move them through scenes with personality.
From abstracted, rolling sequences to zoetropes, the cels’ freedom and fluidity added a playful touch to each of the edits, in keeping with the spirit of the show. Considered lighting enhanced the celluloid feel and brought depth to both the hero film and huge suite of static assets we delivered.
